‘Naturally beautiful moments’ - National Horticultural Association enchants visitors to the Green Week with flowers and plants
German horticultural products represent diversity, emotion and health. The National Horticultural Association (ZVG) is presenting this wide range of attributes to politicians and consumers at the International Green Week Berlin 2018. From 19 to 28 January experts from the ZVG are planning a wealth of information and entertainment in Hall 2.2, the Floral Hall.
For example, the ZVG will be using a highly realistic greenhouse in order to show how tomatoes are grown under glass in Germany. There is a wealth of information about this healthy vegetable for anyone who is interested. In the field of biological plant protection the association will also be featuring some pests and useful predators. Visitors will be able to learn how these useful little creatures can be deployed in horticultural production, and how the natural cycle of ‘eat and be eaten’ unfolds.
The DVZ is seeking to attract young people to careers in horticulture with some fascinating workshops as part of the promotional campaign ‘Gardeners. Growing for the future’. The 360-degree video ‘Plant and Run’ has been created to show how modern and creative such careers can be. VR glasses are provided to enable visitors to the stand to directly experience aspects of these careers. The industry’s campaign ‘Naturally beautiful moments’ will enchant visitors, using flowers and plants to bring a smile to their faces. Flower enthusiasts can take photos on the ZVG stand, become members of the flower group on Facebook, and in this way call upon their friends to ‘Send me flowers, I love to receive them’.
