General information
When does the next Green Week take place?
The International Green Week is every year in the end of January. The dates for the following fairs are already fixed.
What are the opening hours of the Green Week?
The Green Week is daily open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. The extended opening hours are on the second Friday from 10 a.m to 8 p.m..
Are children allowed to visit the Green Week independently?
Youths, who did not complete the 14th year of age, are only allowed to stay at the exhibition ground accompanied by legal guardians.
Are pets permitted at the exhibition ground?
No, it is not allowed to take pets to the exhibition ground. The Messe Berlin does not have accommodation facilities at the entrance area.
Tickets
When can I buy tickets for the Green Week?
Each year in autumn the pre-sale of IGW-tickets begins.
Can I reserve tickets for the Green Week?
No, reservation of tickets for the Green Week is not possible. Tickets can be purchased online or onsite during the applicable opening hours.
Which payment methods are accepted?
When purchasing tickets online, credit card payment and PayPal is the only accepted method. However, if the tickets are being purchased onsite on the day, it is possible to pay cash or make use of EC (ATM) and credit card.
Can I use my ticket at any day during the fair?
Yes, the ticket can be used any day of the fair, unless you have purchased a Sunday-ticket which can only be used on a Sunday.
Can I use my ticket multiple times per day?
No, the ticket only allows the visitor to enter the fair once a day. As soon as you leave the exhibition grounds, your ticket cannot be used a second time. In case you have to interrupt your visit due to urgent matters, please contact a supervisor in the entrance hall before leaving.
Is an IGW-ticket also valid for public transport (BVG & S-Bahn)?
No, public transport is not included.
At what age do children have to pay entrance fee?
As from 6 years it is necessary to pay the entrance fee.

Is the Green Week located in an environmental zone?
No, the exhibition ground of the Green Week is located outside of the environmental zone of Berlin. This zone starts immediately towards the inner-city.
Can I book flights, trains or night stay’s via the Green Week homepage?
Yes, please book via our cooperation partners: Lufthansa, Deutsche Bahn and HRS.
Where do I find a taxi?
You will find taxi ranks at the following locations: CityCube Berlin, south entrance, north entrance, east entrance
How much is the parking fee?
There are different parking facilities for the fair visitors. You can park at the Olympiastadion and go to the exhibition grounds by free shuttle bus. There are also a few parking spaces directly at the exhibition ground, which are partly charged.
Can I spend the nights in my camper during the Green Week?
No, we do not have pitches for camper. Please use the campsite in the proximity.

Where do I find the current floorplan of the IGW?
You will find an overseeable floorplan with a color-coded hall allocation on our website.
Where do I find the individual hall plans?
The interactive hall plan is available a few weeks before the fair and will be updated constantly.
Exhibitors & products
Where do I find a complete overview of all exhibitors of the Green Week?
You can find all exhibitors of the Green Week in the Virtual Market Place®. With the search function you can look for exhibitor names, branches and other parameter. The exhibitor details are available as from 1st of December. Please note that all data will be updated constantly.
What is the Virtual Market Place®?
The Virtual Market Place®of the Green Week is a virtual marketplace, where you can find all exhibitors of the IGW with their products, business profiles and contact details – and all this 365 days a year. All data will be updated constantly by the exhibitors.

Which benefits do I have as a trade visitor?
To have a proper overview of all benefits please have a look at the trade visitor site of our homepage.
How do I find trade events of the IGW?
You can find the trade events in our event search. The events will be updated constantly.
Services
Wardrobe. Where can I leave my jacket, case or bag?
There are cloakrooms at the south, east and north entrance and also in hall 7 and 26. There you can leave your jacket or baggage for a fee. Please note that our cloakroom attandants can only take as many items of baggage and clothing as they can place. When leaving the exhibition ground you should mind to take the same entrance / exit as at your arrival, because your items will be still there.
I am a wheelchair user and plan to visit the IGW.
The exhibition ground (PDF, 1.2 MB) of the IGW is also accessible for wheelchair user. The entrance for the carer is free, when you have the sign “B” in your pass for handicapped persons.
The Deutsche Rote Kreuz offers a wheelchair shoving service and a wheelchair rental in hall 4.2. Phone: +49 30 3038-5836
I lost my things. Where do I find the lost property office?
The lost property office of the Messe Berlin is at the exhibition ground in the Pförtnerloge at the transition of hall 16/17. Phone: +49 30 3038-1785.
Help! I lost my child!
The official meeting point is in hall 4.2 at the Deutsche Rote Kreuz. We recommend to contact the next information desk firstly, because this is the first contact point for your child. Also other visitors would bring a lonely child to these information desks.
ATM. Where can I withdraw cash?
You can find ATMs in hall 19 at the north entrance, in hall 14.1, at the transition hall 1.2b and 2.2b, between hall 25 and hall 26 and in the CityCube.
Where can I apply for a job as hostess or for construction/dismantling at IGW?
